Louis Vuitton

Not So Nautical

I’m not feeling the nautical trend going on this season.

I went to the mall yesterday and everything was covered in stripes, anchors and rope.

I’ve never worn stripes well, so maybe thats why I’m not a big fan… and the fact that I don’t think rope is fashionable.

(This is rope trying to be fashionable… but I don’t think it’s working)

Louis Vuitton Resort 2010

There is only a small segment of the population that can pull off the nautical look well. Personally, I can’t pull it off, because I am a short and stout person. It just makes me look awkward. Versus my lovely sister who is of model height and weight and she looks fabulous in stripes.

If anything, go for the stripes… but leave the anchors and rope at home.

Oooooooooook… you got me here. This Chanel bangle is pretty darn cute.

And this Chanel brooch has done stripes well also…

Hmmm… so I guess I’m fine with stripes, it just depends how they are used and worn. But I am still not a fan of anchors and rope.

Mr. Vuitton and Mr. Jacobs

I am about to start my term paper on Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs. My brain feels kind of numb right now, I’ve been working on other homework. But I seriously need to start this project… you know why?! It’s due Tuesday! Yaaaaahoooo! I plan on writing a short term paper and then some type of prject documenting the history of LV and MJ.

Welcome back

Sorry I’ve been gone for so long, It’s been busy around here. In regards to my previous post, I chose to do my Textiles’s term paper/project on Louis Vuitton (insert applause). Today, I turned in my outline, the beginning process of the 8-10 page paper (WTF?!). First I was going to do my project on Jeans (I was going to come up with a business plan) and then I changed my mind to tanning leather (boring), then I changed my mind again to Mr. Louis Vuitton. I have the attention span of a two year old, so hopefully I stay on this topic.
